And the drumroll please!

I'm not sure if anyone is going to read this post since I have not written on this blog in nearly a year, however I am ready to announce the real person behind this blog that was so fun to write.

I would like to state that people are so dynamic that often times it is easier to stereotype someone based on a set of qualities on which you fixate. If those qualities are perceived as negative from an outside party, they may overlook the 1,000s of great things/sides about you and your work. When I initially started writing Superficial Plaza Chick, it served as an outlet for me to vent about my relationships, which to put bluntly, suck. I have given so much FREE love and FREE friendship and FREE work and charity to people who don't deserve my time over the years that I basically considered myself The Great Harlot. You may have read about me in Revelations. I've been reading about mythology lately and noticed that perhaps Christianity is the main myth of North America, meaning that maybe love itself is the ultimate myth. No wonder so many of your marriages may not be working out. Heck, maybe death is a myth as well.

My love, my friendship, my work, and my charity are not free because I see them as investments in gold and golden investments.

Superficial Plaza Chick is a play on words on Material Girl from Madonna. I love Madonna, think she is absolutely brilliant, and she markets her songs to have a certain sexuality when sexuality is not what she sings, despite what the person who listens to her superficially hears.

Nice to meet you Steph. This was one of the first KC-based blogs I started reading. I was sorry to see it go dormant, but I'm glad it's back.

Ciao!
